We Care Program

Fairfield Service Center, 1295 West Fairfield Drive, Pensacola, Florida 32501
The We Care Program addresses the specialty medical needs of our community's uninsured residents. The program is administered by the Florida Department of Health Department (DOH-Escambia) and was founded by the Escambia County Medical Society. The program helps meet a critical gap in healthcare access to those who otherwise would not receive care or would seek care in emergency rooms and further contribute to the current health care burden of hospitals and their communities.
We Care clients must prove residency in Escambia County for at least six months and be under 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Only patients referred to the program by a physician are accepted into We Care.
Approximately seventy-five physicians, three hospitals, and twenty-one ancillary service providers have volunteered their services to help those in need.
