The Health Information (HI) Network is a local program through the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County that shares health information with local organizations in our effort to protect, promote, and improve the health of all people in Florida. Our initial HI Network cohort outreach is to faith-based organizations in our County. Please see below for more information about joining our network.
HI Network staff provide information modules to churches and faith-based organizations. The modules contain educational information on a themed topic, presented in a variety of formats. Participating organizations may share this information with their membership in whatever format(s) work best for their situation. HI Network staff also provide consultation assistance in setting up health ministries or annual health fairs. To inquire about having a presentation, please fill out our Outreach Request Form.
Modules currently available include:
- Nutrition
- Heart Health
- Diabetes
- Flu
- Stroke
- Summer Safety
- Infant Health
- Health for Older Adults
- Men's Health
Participating organizations also receive FDOH-Escambia’s quarterly Community Partners in Public Health e-newsletter.
