The Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (FBCCEDP) makes it easy to get recommended breast and cervical cancer screenings. Eligible women can receive screenings for free or at low-cost if you meet program eligibility requirements.

Eligibility requirements:                                           

  • Be female
  • Be 50 years or older         
  • Be a Florida resident
  • Meet income guidelines
  • Not have insurance 

Exceptions: 40 years and older with first degree family history of breast cancer or 40 years and under with breast symptoms: lump, pain, discharge.

FBCCEDP authorizes payments for mammograms and pap smears for eligible women residing in Florida. 

FBCCEDP wants to assist you in obtaining a mammogram and/or pap smear.
