FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN ESCAMBIA COUNTY ANNOUNCES TWO WALK-IN COVID-19 VACCINE CLINICS Walk-In Clinics on Thursday, April 15, 2021 and Saturday, April 17, 2021; No Appointment Needed

Pensacola, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is announcing two Moderna 1st dose COVID-19 vaccine walk-in clinics scheduled for Thursday, April 15, 2021 and Saturday, April 17, 2021. All Florida residents age 18 and up, as stated in the Governor’s Executive Order, are eligible. Walk-ins welcome, no appointment needed. Details are listed below:

Thursday, April 15, 2021:

When: 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Vaccine recipients will be expected to return for their second dose on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Where: Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W De Soto St, Pensacola, FL

Saturday, April 17, 2021:

When: 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Vaccine recipients will be expected to return for their second dose on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Where: FDOH-Escambia, 1295 W Fairfield Dr, Pensacola, FL

Residents can use the statewide preregistration system, at myvaccine.fl.gov to get in line for appointments as new schedules are opened. They may also call 850-595-6554 to be scheduled into any remaining available appointments, including same-day appointments at FDOH-Escambia. Questions can be directed to FDOH-Escambia’s COVID-19 phone line at 850-595-6500 option 6.

The COVID-19 vaccine is a monumental step toward getting this disease under control in Florida, but the department is still encouraging residents and visitors to take all precautions to protect themselves and others from the spread of the virus. These include frequent hand washing, wearing face masks, maintaining six feet of social distancing, and staying home if you are feeling sick.
