FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN ESCAMBIA COUNTY ANNOUNCES CLOSURE OF COVID-19 TESTING SITE

Pensacola, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) will suspend specimen collection for COVID-19, effective Friday, April 1, 2022. Testing offered at 1295 West Fairfield Drive in Pensacola is being suspended due to a decline in demand for COVID-19 tests.

Individuals should continue to watch for COVID-19 symptoms. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19, keep your distance from others, be evaluated by your health care provider, and get tested. You can find testing locations here.

FDOH-Escambia continues to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible persons by appointment only Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call 850-595-6554 to schedule an appointment. FDOH-Escambia encourages those who are eligible to get vaccinated. You can find vaccine locations here.
