The HIV 501 Counselor Certification Program is for staff at Florida Department of Health-approved HIV Rapid Test sites. Registration for this course is required at least two weeks in advance. Space is limited to 10 students per class. Please note:   

  • The prerequisite for this course is HIV/AIDS 500 (TRAIN course). Please bring a copy of the completion certificate to class.   
  • The 2026 HIV 501 Counselor Certification Update will be a one-on-one monitoring session and update on public health topics.
