Pensacola, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (DOH-Escambia) recognizes June 6 of each year as Revive Awareness Day and invites the public to attend this year’s event on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Revive Awareness Day raises awareness about the importance of overdose prevention, education, and access to lifesaving resources. DOH-Escambia, in partnership with Bright Bridge Ministries, will host the Annual Revive Awareness Day Dinner and Learn event. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to recognize the signs of an overdose, how to properly use naloxone to reverse an overdose, and what local resources and programs are available to support individuals living with substance use disorder.
