Think your teens are social? So are vaccine-preventable diseases.  We all know the Importance of immunizations for babies and toddlers, however immunizations during the teen years are equally important. As your teen’s social world grows, so does his or her risk for exposure to vaccine-preventable illnesses like meningitiswhooping cough (pertussis) , and HPV.

Be ready for 7th grade.

Be Ready for 7th Grade! Make sure middle-schoolers are up-to-date. Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Tdap) immunization is required for all students entering the 7th grade. It must be documented on an updated Florida Certificate of Immunization (DH 680 form) and submitted to the school.

GraduateGraduating from High School this Year? Take charge of your health. Getting vaccinations while still in high school can get students caught up on shots before getting a job, going to college, or traveling abroad. All vaccinations are free to eligible teens until their 19th birthday!
