RESCIND Health Alert Bayou Texar CONTINUE Alert For Bayous Chico, Grande

PENSACOLA, FL – Effective immediately, in response to bacteriological sampling, the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is rescinding the health alert for the following beach in Escambia County, Florida:
Bayou Texar at Bayview Park
A Health alert remains in effect for the following beaches:
Bayou Chico at Lakewood Park
Bayou Grande, Navy Point - North of Sunset Avenue Bridge
Follow-up sampling of the affected area indicates an adequate reduction in bacteria levels.
