The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County’s (DOH-Escambia) main facility, located on Fairfield Drive in Pensacola, sustained major damage in the recent flood event. This facility will remain closed until further notice.

• Limited clinic services, previously provided at DOH-Escambia’s Fairfield Drive location, will resume at a temporary location by the week of May 19, 2014. The new location will be announced as soon as details are finalized. Existing clients may call 850-484-5040, extension 1125, to schedule appointments for clinic visits.

• DOH-Escambia will be unable to schedule appointments for new clients until further notice. Persons needing help finding alternate care providers can visit EscambiaHealth.com, or call 211 or visit http://escambia.communityos.org/cms/.

• Established clinic patients experiencing a medical emergency, or needing healthcare services outside of clinic hours, should go to an urgent care facility or hospital emergency department.

• Pregnant women seeking presumptive Medicaid eligibility can find resources at escambiahealth.com.
