Florida Department of Health in Escambia County Announces Outreach Event Featuring Hepatitis A Vaccinations

Pensacola, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is announcing an outreach event that will provide hepatitis A vaccinations offered to community residents.

Hepatitis A is on the rise in our area. FDOH-Escambia reminds everyone to get vaccinated, and stay vaccinated, against hepatitis A. Hepatitis A is a vaccine-preventable illness that can be highly contagious and easily contracted through contaminated food and water. This outreach event will feature no-charge immunizations for hepatitis A. 

What: FDOH-Escambia Outreach Event Featuring Hepatitis A Vaccinations 
Where: Charity Chapel, 5820 Montgomery Ave, Pensacola, FL 32526 
When: Saturday, November 7, 2020 open 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. CST 
Who: Adults 18+ are eligible for vaccinations 
How: Walk-up, no appointment needed. Bring your ID card.
