Environmental Public Health Program

The Division of Environmental Health is responsible for conducting inspections, issuing permits and licenses, enforcing statutes and codes, and responding to questions regarding environmental concerns. These programs monitor the health of the environment, so Escambia County, Florida residents can experience optimum health now and in generations to come. Staff use education and training in natural, physical, and environmental sciences to promote and improve the health of Escambia County residents through monitoring and controlling environmental factors.

eBridge Solutions 

eBridge Solutions is a web-based records storage system. FDOH-Escambia’s Environmental Health Division scans all completed Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal System (OSTDS) records (with an application date on or after October 1998) and Community Environmental Health Inspection reports into this system.


To access OSTDS records and inspection reports, please follow these steps:

  • Username: public
  • Password: public
  • File Cabinet: ECHD ENV Health


The “retrieve tab” is located in the upper left-hand corner. You can search by permit type, permit number, street address, or inspection date.
